Welcome to Tasks ’n Chores (“TNC”, “we”, “our”, “us”), a service operated by TNC Group ApS. By downloading, installing, or using our app and related services (together the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • Service: The Tasks ’n Chores mobile application, website, and related services.
  • User, you: Any person who downloads, registers, or uses the Service.
  • Content: Any data, text, images, or other materials uploaded, entered, or created by you.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • Accounts must be created by individuals 18 years or older. Parents or guardians may permit their children to use the Service under their supervision. Children must not create their own accounts.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
  • You must provide accurate information and notify us of unauthorized use immediately.

3. License & Intellectual Property

  • We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • All intellectual property in the Service (software, design, trademarks) belongs to TNC or its licensors.
  • You retain ownership of your Content but grant TNC a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display it solely to provide and improve the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
  • Upload harmful or offensive content.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without prior written consent.

5. Trial, Subscriptions & Payments

  • New users may begin with a trial period, after which a paid subscription is required. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly or annually). Subscription terms, fees, and billing cycles will be presented on our website and during signup for subscription and may change from time to time.
  • Paid features are billed in advance on a subscription basis.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

6. Withdrawal Rights & Refunds

  • You have a 14-day right to cancel your purchase and request a refund from the date of your initial subscription.
  • If you request a refund within this period, we will process it in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

7. Service Availability & Updates

  • We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time. Subscriptions will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at team@tasksnchores.com
  • We will process deletion requests within a reasonable period.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your license ends and we may delete your Content, subject to our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, TNC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by Danish law.
  • Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
  • If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last Updated” date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
