Tasks ’n Chores (“TNC”, “we”, “our”, “us”), operated by TNC Group ApS, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our app and related services (the “Service”).

  • Family Data: task lists, points, family preferences (e.g. “gems”, “hugs”), and related usage data you enter.
  • Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, and log files for security and troubleshooting.
  • Payment Data: subscription details and payment confirmations, processed securely by our payment provider (we do not store full card data ourselves).
  • Support Data: messages, feedback, or support requests you send us.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (e.g. health, religion, biometrics).

2. How We Collect Data

  • Directly from you: when you register, use the Service, or contact us.
  • Automatically: through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Through partners: if you purchase via an app store or payment processor.

3. Purposes & Legal Bases

We process your personal data for the following purposes, under these legal bases:

  • To provide the Service: account setup, task tracking, subscriptions, customer support. (Legal basis: contract)
  • To improve and personalize the Service: analytics, feature development. (Legal basis: legitimate interest or consent, where required)

4. Children’s Privacy

  • Accounts must be created by a parent or guardian (18+).
  • Children may use the Service only under parental supervision.
  • We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts or provide personal data directly.

If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without parental consent, we will delete it.

5. Sharing of Data

We share data only in limited cases:

  • Service Providers: trusted vendors who host, analyze, or support the Service.
  • Payment Processors: for billing and subscription management.

  • Account data: until you request deletion or close your account.
  • Subscription/payment data: as required by law (e.g. accounting rules).
  • Logs and technical data: typically 12 months.
  • Backups: securely deleted within 90 days.

8. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing team@tasksnchores.com. We will confirm and complete deletion within a reasonable time, subject to legal and accounting obligations.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption, access controls, and monitoring. No system is completely secure, but we work continuously to improve protections.

10. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability (receive data in a structured format).
  • Withdraw consent (e.g. for marketing).
